SDCC 2015 Monster toy checklist!

It's mid July which means two things, searing heat and the San Diego Comic Con!  Those lucky enough to attend the event will have the opportunity to pick up a plethora of exclusives ranging from Predator action figures to Vinyl collectibles.  While a number of these exclusives will be limited to the event a handful of the items will make their way into a few specialty stores this week!  I'll have more details on the "whens" and "wheres" shortly, first we must take a look at some of the items getting the convention treatment!

Neca
First up is Neca's Pamela and Jason Voorhees two pack.  This is a must for fans of Neca's retro line and currently at the top of my "must have" list!

Continuing to play on geek-nostalgia Neca is releasing a translucent Predator inspired by the Kenner Mail in Exclusive from the early 90's.

Joining the Predator is the glow-in-the-dark Endoskeleton complete with retro packaging.

Super7
Super7 will have a number of cool items available this year starting with this Universal Monsters set.  The four figures are cast in a glow-in-the-dark translucent plastic, they are also housed in a super cool Universal Monsters crypt!  What more could you ask for?

If you've been itchin' to release your Super7 figures from their cardboard cages but had no idea how to properly display them you'll be extremely happy to know Super7 now has you covered.  Only available at SDCC is a super limited cardboard haunted house.  The house is over twenty inches tall and includes a number of hidden passageways and trap doors.  At $75 bucks it's a bit rich for my blood, but as someone who loves haunted houses, gimmicks, and play sets I had to include it on this list!

Also available are two NBX Reaction figures housed in their very own Jack-O-Lanterns!

Here's one of the cooler items available, a limited Jaws set featuring a bloody Bruce and Quint.

Proving you can never have enough The Wolfman items in your collection, Super7 will release a flocked Wolfman ReAction figure!

Funko
Ever find yourself wanting an unmasked Pop! Jason on your shelf?  Glad I'm not alone.  Certainly a must own for fans of the slasher franchise.

"The way you walked was thorny..."
Afraid your flocked ReAction Wolfman figure will get lonely?  Be sure to pick up his Pop! companion, just steer clear of this guy when the moon is full.

Those of us who won't be making the trip to California this year will still have the opportunity to snag some of these exclusives!  Barnes and Noble will have a number of Funko and Super7 items available starting Thursday morning.

Hastings will have a number of Neca exclusives available Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, while random Toys R Us stores will have figures available sporadically throughout the week.

For those who have a tough time finding these collectibles locally there's always ebay!  If anyone has super deep pockets and wants to bless a poor horror blogger with a Super7 haunted house, you know exactly who to contact! ;)
